Dell Cert is fine.
I did that so you could use the new Dell key if you want to.

 

If later on there is a new OEM Key, like Toshiba, i can just install the toshiba cert, and then the key? or do i have to mod again because of the bin?

If you have the time, can you mod one Toshiba version for me now? I'd like to have it paired up with the Laptop brand =P

 

Which method was the one that worked SSV2 or SSv3 ?
I'll remod with the method that worked for you and use Toshiba SLIC.

 

I used the SSv3. But I didn't try SSv2 with the working method for installing the bios update.
Do whichever you think it's the best.

Nope... =S
Each OEM key has a bin 2.1 slic.
But tecnically the most common OEM's have their keys leaked very quickly, so you won't need to remod.
I'm just asking for a remod so that all on my laptop matches. xD

Clearly iam missing something since i used the dell modded bios and cert.

Then the lenvo key. (key with opatool)

 

For the Modded BIOS with Toshiba SLIC and Cert,
The Lenovo Key will work the DELL Key will not (AFAIK Dell Key is specific to Dell System, ie DELL Cert and SLIC).

PS these Questions regarding SLIC/Cert/Keys need to be put in a different Thread.
