On some systems, the bios/efi trashes the slic emulated by the loader at the default location. After disabling this, the loader places the slic at a different & safe position the ram ~ thats it. Btw, Intel EFIs can't be modifiable cause they are RSA signed. For this new mobo, you need to wait for the leak of OA3Intel tool
no will do right now done 2.1 slic inserted now to install cert . fingers crossed slic 2.1 inserted cert inserted license key inserted 555LE thank you very much indeed
Damn it Thanks for the info! Intel lets you download some tools, but I don't think its the full thing.... any idea when this is gonna happen?? :}
Unfortunately, I was not able to recover the BIOS using the steps that you provided... Just out of curiosity, did you use Phoenix Tool v1.95 to mod the BIOS? Also, I did use EZFlash in Windows 7 x64... What do you recommend when I flash the BIOS in the future? If you have any other suggestions on how to fix the bricked BIOS, please let me know. When I hold <Ctrl> and <Home> while powering on, with USB drive with BIOS ROM plugged in, it still goes through a series of 6 short beeps...
it is my fault I'm not packed in the bios ZT_eFUWIN.exe also no warned not to in no case have not used EZFlash
Hello, I would like to know if the two moduls (1.cap & 2.cap including in your rar-file) are especially made for this included Bios (P8Z77-V-PRO-ASUS-0906.CAP) or can I use it for another ASUS Bios/Board as well? If not, how can I get these two files for another Board/Bios (e.g. ASUS P8Z77-V without PRO)? Thanks in advance, fallon
