Hello, Thank you for your help. I did flash the new rom with Aopen flash utility. The rom was an older version r1.03. Is it possible to get this with r.1.08. I am experiencing some issues. Front USB ports no longer work and system will not boot to windows, just automatically shuts down. When trying to install fresh from windows disc the screen goes blank after initial system file install. Thank you very much,
Thank you for the rom r1.08. I was able to flash from the usb with no issues. The front usb's are now functioning again. I am still unable to load Windows. From HD the video goes blank after the scroll bar timer. When trying to install from OEM Windows 7 disc screen goes blank just before lic key is to be input and I have also tried a Retail disc that stops after initial windows set up files are installed. Any Ideas would be appreciated. Thanks,
Be sure the media is good, and you do not have a bad copy. try to load and use a linux live distro. Is it possible the DVD-ROM is bad or going bad?? See if other OS can be installed..
