    I compared the ACPI modules in the both F8 and F10a bios - in the F10a BIOS the structure of ACPI module changed significantly.
    Is possible this is the reason of problems.

    You are not how it is at risk. Even if the firmware will fail on the board is a function of "ASUS Flashback" which ios return to the operating state.
    These screenshots are taken from one of the most successful firmware.

    PRIOR use
    flash the original 0504 bios!!!

    asus does not make desktops with pre licensed win7 aka slic 2.1 .only notebook
