    1. Do you mean the one I ve used now for my custom CD? I ve used this ISO: en_windows_xp_home_with_service_pack_3_x86_cd_x14-92413 ... and also applied latest updates. Otherwise, if you mean the OEM pre-installed OS - according to the the sticker was Windows XP Home. But I can't find whether it was SP0, SP1 or SP2 etc...

    2. You mean I can skip this step? OK

    3. :)

    Open i386\setupp.ini. Change the contents like this:

    Code:
    [Pid]
    ExtraData=786F687170637175716954806365EF
    Pid=76477OEM

    After changing setupp.ini, your oem:coa key from the sticker should be accepted. More over if you replace oembios files, then you can use oem:slp activation.

    Wow - you mean just this tiny mod will allow me to use the serial from the sticker? That's great!

    Just out of curiosity - what's the benefit of using oem:slp (assuming that the above does work)?

    Yap.

    You can use nLite to rebuild the iso.

    You need to start your own Thread for this problem.
    This is a SLIC Request Thread not an XP SLP/Activation Thread.
