    Seems to have worked now (see "line" starting with 53 in the middle of the RW-Everything log-file), as far as I can assume, doesn't it?

    But: Nevertheless, thank you very much (and in advance if you don't mind reading the log-file ;) ).

    That is a strange way to save the file...:D

    The slic is present, now to be absolutely sure, ty activation and upload a ACPI dump from RWEverything.

    From emachines website there is none for your machine...you will probably need to backup your bios and submit it...

    However, many emachines are Phoenix Bios and may need to place your request in the Phoenix Mod Request section of this forum.
