    That is the general thumb rule. But its not applicable for 'permanent' Asus bios modding.

    Okay, I'm intrigued. Is my Asus Z87-A a good candidate for 'permanent' Asus bios modding? Just what makes one Asus board suitable (or Gigabyte, ASRock, etc.) for 'permanent' bios modding?
