    Tried to make mod using phoenixtool 2.19 - all is o.k.
    but during update I get:
    security verification failed in the file, so actually did not succeed

    Try the New Module method

    Result is NOT good, I get:
    Complete SLIC (2.0) (A M I OEMSLIC ) (x1)
    Pubkey and marker (2.1) (_ASUS_Notebook) (x1)
    SLIC digital signature valid
    Complete SLIC (2.0) (A M I OEMSLIC ) does NOT match certificate (x1)
    Pubkey and marker (2.1) (_ASUS_Notebook) matches certificate (x1)

    This is perfect. Now just flash the modded bios; you'll get permanent SLIC 2.1 mod.
