    Realtek RTL8168D/8111D Family PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.20)

    is what I can find in device manager, aside from the wireless card I have in one of the slots.

    Maybe it is not important, but when I had the the last two modified bioses installed and the lan boot as first option it didn't show anything interesting posted at boot time. I don't know if I should expect to see anything different, but maybe this is a clue. Also, when I made lan boot the only option it did the usual that you would expect... it said non system disk or disk failure.
