    Sorry for that...

    try this recovery procedure :
Turn off your ECS PC, unplug power cord.
Rename your original (non modified) bios 31017M4S.ROM as Boot.rom (or as A960M-M4.rom, or as EBOOT.ROM) and copy that file into the root directory of a DOS bootable USB flash drive (FAT formatted).
Plug that USB flash drive into the your A960M-M4 board, plug in power cord & boot it up.
System will start "BIOS Recovery" automatically.
Once it's done, system will restart & you should see the POST display.

I wasn't able to get the BIOS recovery to work, so I RMA'ed the board.

Do you have any ideas how to "fix" the modded BIOS, so I can try it on another board?

I don't know what happened...it's simplest mod - Dynamic method was used: Pubkey&Marker were filled & ACPI module was corrected
Perhaps something was wrong in BIOS flashing procedure ... ?

    Hello Serg008,
huge thanks for the mod BIOS, works fine on the ASUS A78M-E.

Thank you very much for this!

Is something doable with the BIOS of the Acer notebook?
For this you need a RW report?
