    That's correct.
    Every ASUS notebook mod I have done or seen done needed to be flashed from DOS with AFLASH2 using the instructions I included with the mod.

    I managed to update the bios with aflash2.exe utility and the same problem still occurs, is it possible you uploaded the original file? I'm at a loss here

    Edit: I think I know the problem, when I downloaded the file the first time it didn't include any other files I just redownloaded the modded bios and it contains other files maybe that was the problem

    Edit2: I can confirm it now works DELLQA09_V2.1 :)

    Windows 7 update form vista

    Do you have to do a clean install of windows 7? Or can you update vista to window 7? And still use the modded bios activation to activate window 7. I can't seem to activate windows 7 after updating from vista only after a clean install Howie
