Laptop charges with out any issues, it is just this popup which appears when I connect the adpater so I assume there is something wrong with this OEM adapter. I have ordered a new adapter, let`s hope it works, Thanks a lot buddy!
This needs a board specific bios mod which involves the bios backup, submitting results.rar to a modder and receiving a custom modded bios. I have been served by Serg008 and have a successful mod. I've been told the basic method but I'm asking for clarification on what files I need to work on for it to work. Also it is not like a regular bios flash when you get your mod, it flashes from within windows and modifies the Intel ME regions by what I have understood so far. Code: Any chance of the method to modify bios F20 for a Gigabyte GA-Z170XP-SLI? I've tried new module but it said bios file invalid when I tried to flash in bios qflash. Do I need to use RW file? I have come across a post about usings a modified efiflash tool to bypass the checksum verification used. Will be trying that soon. EDIT2 Tried the modified efiflash tool and I got !!!OEMID Mismatch !!! I already flashed the board to F20 original bios and now I can't flash a modified bios so any clues would be nice :)
