    Are there some articles or threads with more in-depth information regarding this procedure? I'm trying to learn all this "new-fangled" stuff you kiddies understand natively, and it takes awhile for us olde fartes to learn this stuff... o_O

    Thank you Serg008, you are a boss.

    I have since discovered a tool that allowed me to go back to bios/uefi version F8 - which is apparently also safer for my chip as the new firmware sends a higher default voltage to account for the newer Kaby Lake chips. Would it be possible to get a SLIC enabled F8 firmware revision? I assume since you linked to the newer update I wont need to submit an RW report.
