    Your BIOS is locked,
    enter into the BIOS and try to disable UEFI boot and SecureBoot at first.

    Just out of curiosity, I had used phoenixtool266 but without success. Seems to have some BIOS protection code in the new MSI M/B.

    Try to flash the mod via the bios recovery procedure:
    1. Unpack MOD.exe, rename "__w_AFUBAK4.ROM" as "X55U.bin" and copy it to USB flash stick (FAT formatted).
    DO NOT MAKE anything etc. ONLY COPY
    2. Remove battery, adapter (power cord) , mouse etc.
    3. Attach USB flash stick (try with the lower left slot at first)
    4. Hold down <CTRL> + <Home>
    5. Plug In the AC Power adapter, wait about 3-5 secs
    6. Press the power button
    7. wait 3-5 sec and now release the buttons <CTRL> and <Home>.
    8. The screen of the built-in BIOS flash utility appears and the BIOS will be flashed.
    It took about 5-8 minutes and notebook powered down itself.......

    After the reboot boot to Windows and check Slic with Slictoolkit
