I prefer to make /(and then)modify a BIOS backup for each of these old motherboards

I got the same error "secure flash rom verify fail".

I used Phoenixtool 2.73, and dynamic method. Phoenixtool had a dialog box that said "Warning: No complete SLIC table found. Continue?", to which I said yes. I used afuwinx64 v5.08.02.1189 directly from the AMI website . I had previously made similar attempts with the module method, and Gigabyte's afudos and afuwinx64 versions, all resulting in the same "secure flash rom verify fail".

try from pure DOS with afudos (rename image_SLIC.bin as SLIC.bin, boot to pure DOS and
AFUDOS.EXE SLIC.bin /p /n /X /L /reboot

 

This time I got "Error: Invalid load CMOS option"
