I tried but failed. Here is the error message as follows. "46 -Error: Problem getting flash information" What can I do next?
I finally got around to installing both that 2.3 (by mistake) and the SuperMicro X8DTL-iF_ 2.1b_Dell21_Dyn.rar slic using Dell win7pro but was unable to activate as I got some message about "blocked from license server". I have been running Ubuntu minimal server for some time and though I would use windows as I read their drivers might be better and m$soft had fixes for meltdown and spector. The linux 32 kernel was supposed to have the same fix but I was unable to get nVidia CUDA to work with it so I tried widows then went back to the .19 linux kernel which worked with the nVidia CUDA I was using. Thank you for reposting anyway.
Problem has solved. "AFUDOS.exe" file was corrupted. After I replace the corrupted with a new one, it worked. Thank you for your help.
I am trying to change MTM and Serial number in Lenovo Yoga 900. The AMI tools (I have tried AMIDEDOS, etc.) have not worked. Now I read that I may need something named LVAR64. Does anybody know where this is available? Or, if something else will work? PLEASE IGNORE. I GOT WHAT I NEEDED. Thanks
