So, I surmise that the Gigabyte flash op cannot be done via Factory avenues, rather than like some other instances of better luck on the thread.

Figures. Reckon I'll give ol' DOS a spin, then (shades of the 8088... ironic that at this point in the tech arc, it still takes an old fashioned monkey wrench to make things work...).

However, since it seems I will have to go to summer school to usefully interpret the outputs of RWEverything, I wonder if there might be an Idiot's Guide (call it another monkey wrench) to post-flash SLIC condition in its most essential terms, before I DAZ load in vain..

In any case, I thank you for your invaluable assistance and infinite patience in dealing with those of us whose talents lie in different directions.

PS: I presume that the ver. of the efiflash utility that came with the mod BIOS is sufficiently "older" to do the job.

PPS: I like your galactic Rorshach Test id pic.

Yes. MOD3, and then, if 3 does not work, try MOD4

This bios can't be modified/flashed (RSA signed bios).
Try with older versions of NbDmiFit , e.g. 1.19 ...1.1D (HPBFO054.EXE or HPBFO052.EXE utilities must do it)
