Try clearing CMOS - removing battery then replace battery and try again. Edit: Just noticed you managed to reboot Glad it was not older ASRock motherboard they had no bios recovery at all you would have needed to buy new bios chip I know from experience
Glad to know i've just read your message and i was afraid you might restart the machine while the flash was still running on it because that's the worst thing to do. NEVER restart a pc while the flash is still running on it. So i am relieved to know nothing bad happened and that you were able to flash your bios successfully. So could you clarify some points so that other members know how to fix the problem in case they face the same issue ? which modded bios did you use to flash your bios machine ? the first one that i posted with asus slic or the second one with dell slic ? Did you wait until the flash procedure ends bedore booting your machine ? which flash tool did you use ? ASrock models normally need to be flashed from DOS using Asrock recommended Flash Utility as @Serg008 mentionned in one of his posts.
The way it reads to me is he used ASRock instant flash that is built into newer asrock motherboards it should have worked still don't know if he managed to flash any of the modded bioses. He used AFUDOS and managed to flash a bios file and recover but i'm not sure if that was original bios file.
I used your modded bios. Booted pc with freedos then AFUDOS bios.rom /GEN the problem solved! thanks for everything
ok we can clearly see that slic 2.4 was injected successfuly into the bios. Next time use "code' or "spoiler" to post a report.
i don't undestand, you're saying that you didn't flash your bios with the modded bios i posted ? Regarding Slic id, that's strange, it should normally show DELL as it's this brand slic that was injected into the bios.
#62391 is the report that i flash the bios you provid omit #62389 XSDT report is from aida64 it is not sliced
Don't use Aida to check slic, use the querytool i posted. that's stange because the slic was performed successfully after the modding procedure has been ficnished. try now with this modded bios => *removed by Yen* Modded with PhoenixTool 2.73 Slic => Dell 2.4 Cert => None Method => Module Let me know if it worked and post report.
