Well I tried to flash from 1.80, then 1.90, then 2.0, then 3.1, then 3.2, still the same result But nevermind, I managed to dig out v2.0, this time it works for me! Thanks a lot
I'm trying to reactivate my Windows 10 after I changed Motherboards I tried that one with the DELL 2.4 and it says unknown in showkeysplus. I need the one that has ASUS_NOTEBOOK as the SLIC 2.1. if at all possible
Windows 10 does not use slic 2.1 for the activation, this slic version is used for windows 7 activation. Slic 2.4 is used to activate server 2016. Regarding windows 10 as well as win8/8.1, no more slic, it's msdm table that replaced the slic table.
I dual boot window 7 and windows 10. I didn't know what Slic 2.4 was until you told me so thanks for clearing my curiosity. I just know it didn't work. but I upgraded from oem windows 7 to windows 10. I changed my motherboard and need to put the ASUS_NOTEBOOK for the SLIC 2.1 with the hopes that my digital license will reactivate and my windows 7 reactivates. This is what I had to do the last time my motherboard went bad and it reactivated. I'm hoping someone on here can fix the bios for me
I'm trying not to do a fresh install. what i'm talking about may not work but it worked last time without me having to do a fresh install. Is there a link on here that teaches someone how to mod a bios. If someone would kindly point me in that direction. looks like i will have to try to learn. Thanks
Hi! Unfortunately I have trouble flashing the modded BIOS. EZ flash says Error reading, Afudos says something about not secure. Do I need to revert to a previous BIOS version first? Or use another BIOS flash tool (No luck with FTK 0.12 by the way - unsupported decice)? EDIT: Nevermind, I found an AFUDOS version, with I managed to flash it (with working /GAP command). Thank you, by the way.
