try downgrade to v.1.10 bios, reboot, then update to modified v.1.70

 

Downgrade ok, but update fails.
same error: "Secure Flash Check Fail"

 

try with AMI APTIO V afuwin or afuwingui - flash MAIN block only! (use /P option)

add. when the same error occurs ("Secure Flash Check Fail"), the Mod must be flashed with SPI flash programmer (as here https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/award-ami-bios-mod-requests.5863/page-3116#post-1475389 )

Hi, I tried the dell 2.4 slic bios but it failed to activate in windows 10 pro fresh install. code 0xC004C003

I am not familiar with SLIC and I am not sure if I should have SLIC 3.0 or install win 7 and upgrade to Win 10 Pro.
