    Thanks guys so much for the help. The bios mod went perfectly. Smiles. I do however have another request. I can't find this SLIC enabled bios and I have searched EVERYWHERE. I am in need of an SLIC bios for the Asus ROG G74sx Gaming Laptop. The latest bios is "G74SxAS203.zip". If anyone has this fixed SLIC bios I would be forever grateful if they could kindly share it with me. Thank You so much.

    You have Lenovo 2.1 SLIC in BIOS.
    This bios is locked for modifications:
    It seems that the mod can be flashed with SPI flash programmer only.
