    ok i think ive modded my own now i just need to know if i need to re-install certificates ?

    As long as the SLIC you used for the new BIOS mod is the same as the old mod you can use the same Certificate.

    when i am modding the bios using awardtool, yes im using the dell slic and slp files that came with award tool downloaded from here. there is a box underneath them that says 'certificate' i left that blank is that ok? i made the bios file and it said it did it succesfully

    so i dont have to reinstall the certificate after to the hardrive? if im on the right lines?

    Only use the slic option, certificate and slp can be left blank. SLP options is for xp and small business servers. If you dont use it leave it blank.
