    Thanks 4 the quick reply

joebloggs1881 Many thanks 4 the quick reply :)

First thing first, I am nube when it comes to BIOS

there are 2 .rom files. if I am correct one is old ver and another one is mod ver.

there are .bin files and .rom files of bios.

    what's the difference ?

could you tell me how to flash this .rom file. I messed with BIOS earlier just wanted to be cautious, and if it looks like out of my knowledge i will seek the help of my PC builder. Is 0602_SLIC_ASUS_21.rom is all my PC builder needs to flash BIOS?

    Thanks :)

The 0602_SLIC_ASUS_21.rom is the modded bios, this is the one that you use to flash. In my original post there is a link to a post on how to make a bootable USB drive that you can use to flash the bios in DOS.
