Well, here I go again, trying to remove a permanent SLIC from an ASUS P8Z68-V LX motherboard, and it´s giving me a headache. I tried to use the AFUWINx64 method, flashing the original BIOS from EZ Flash, but when I try to load the modded BIOS onto the AFUWINGUIx64.EXE application I get an error saying: a1 - Error: BIOS does not support ME Entire Firmware update I get the same error with both the original and the SLIC 2.5 modded BIOS, and the Flash button is greyed out. Last time I tried to do this I was able to remove SLIC from a H97M-E motherboard following the instructions @Serg008 gave me, but now I can´t do it, even by following the same steps. Can someone lend me a hand? Thanks!

Thanks for the reply! I used the same method described in the post. Using AFUWINGUI v5.14 I'm able to load the .ROM, untick averything except the #2 option, but when I click on Flash I get this error screen: And when i try using v3.05 and v3.09 I get the ME error. Do you know if there's a repository with previous versions? Been also on BIOS Mods and Win-RAID but most of the links direct me to the official AMI page, wihich offers only the latest versions.
