    I did ask you stated. fat 32 usb drive.

    unzipped files and put them on thumb drive. I tried both of these ways.

    started the computer and pressed f12 to get to boot menu.

    when I tried both chooses, it would send me back to the boot menu within 2 seconds.

    sorry to be a pain but I must be doing something wrong and I can not figure it out.
    I have flashed several bios before, but they were all asus, without any problems.
    first time with gigabyte.

    enter into the BIOS, enable UEFI boot (OS), disable Secure Boot, Save&Exit, then select UEFI: USB 2.0 ...
