    After any modifications the capsule header is invalid and the flash-tools from vendor will deny programming. So i removed the header, flashing still works, but only from flashback-method. The image is still functional without capsule-header, header won't be written in flash, its only needed for checking the integrity of bios-file.

    I suspect it. But I can't get the BIOS FlashBack button to work, any pressing is useless. Therefore, I am forced to go into BIOS and use EZ Flash.

    You have to flash it directly w/ programmer.

    If bios from factory is complete (check size), it should work when flashed w/ programmer, but you will loose personal data; if passcode is still present, its stored somewhere outside the bios.
