    Can you please elaborate on the "I tried it but that one doesn´t work for me" part? Do you mean that the stock 2202 BIOS isn't compatible with your motherboard, or the modded 2202 image didn't reveal any SLIC?

    Nonetheless, visit the same post and you should find a modded (Asus 2.1) 2104 instance waiting for you.

    I meant that it isn´t compatible with my motherboard. Not the original and not the modded one. The already modded 2104 version i can´t use because it was modded for a Dell and i have a Asus as i mentioned in my first post. So i really need help for a new 2104 modded one because the original one works fine for my motherboard but i can´t activate my Windows 7 with that one of course. If you can´t do it or don´t want to do it, i would appreciate very much if you could tell me who i could ask for it instead. In the past years i got helped here already a lot of times with these mods but those who did it are not available anymore.

    Yes, the mod should be good to be flashed. Moreover, it would be permanent mod, which means subsequent official BIOS updates won't touch the SLIC.

    FYI, the "Notebook" string in the Asus SLIC has no effect on the target platform. It's just a filler text.

    @RobrPatty

    I did it once on a friend's Asus mobo and faced the same "create ASIO driver file error." IIRC, you might have to delete the *.SYS file, reboot, and re-run the tool a couple of times to get the result.

    @RobrPatty

    Perhaps try it from a PE, preferably Windows 10-based?
