    at first i will say thank you for your time and work.

    i have flashed in dos with floppy.
    at step 5 in the recovery instruktion i must hold downthe WinKey+B Keys and while holding plug the computer in to power without the battery and pres the power button. then i should hear the flopy drive working, but nothing happens :(

    i have try it much times, but nothing happens.

    now i have bought a new bios for my board in hope its work :)
    i'm interested why it dosn't work.

    I Bought this computer without Windows from Dell. So It seems like it doesn't even have SLIC 2.0. Tried DELL-FX09-1.0BAWRD 2.1 BIN file but it says Not ICH9.

    Checked Device manager and it listed many ICH10.

    The Vostro 220/220s/420 bioses don't contain a SLIC, but previously bios version 1.1.4 had a SLIC 2.0 inserted, so it is possible.
