If anyone wants a modded SLIC 2.1 BIOS for Gigabyte GA-MA770-DS3 rev 1.0 (release F7) gimme a shout and I'll upload it. I've tested it with Win7 Ultimate x64 and Dell cert. and it works.

Then you are doing some step in the process incorrectly....did you install Windows and use some sort of lo*der, patch, cr**k, bios emulator, etc. to activate windows?

Did you flash the bios in DOS?

Did you use the recommended utility by your manufacturer to flash this bios in DOS?

There is something that is missing in the equation that you presented. When you flash a bios, it does one of several things. It overwrites the previous bios. However, if you do not clear CMOS and set defaults in the Bios Settings after flashing bios, then it MAY revert back to its previous version of the bios due to boot lock settings.

Or, it does not overwrite the bios because of a bad flash

Or, it does not overwrite the bios but corrupts the previous bios and then it bricks your computer.

Since, the flashing of your bios did not brick the computer, and since the flashing of your bios apparently did not insert the proper SLIC, then it means the utility which flashed the bios is not correct....try using AFUDOS which is an ASUS Bios Update Utility and is excellent to flash in DOS>
