When I was trying to do the bios mod myself (before I asked for help) with awardtool129, I used isa without any modifiers in the advanced page... Using those settings it didn't work... I think this is what you are refering to. Thanks for the suggestion though
Correct, I tried to update with the new bios's in dos booting from a 3.5 floppy using the utility provided by Asus's website... (aflash221)
Is the only mod method tried ISA?? If it is an Award, try the SSv3 method. This bios has no SLIC table..
EDIT: i'll already try SSV3 but gives me ERROR "ACPI module must follow main module" also try OEM7 with ACPI table at end on Oem7 its successfully mod. I tried double check it again mod Oem7 it gives me error now No space to insert module
When trying OEM7 with EPA at End I get EPA module must follow ACPI module error... I tried ISA and in advanced settings i ticked ISA at End... It made a bios file does this mean anything?
Source file not found ASUS BIOS Live Update not determine my bios as Asus(unable to detekt asus bios). What could be the problem, may be because my BIOS is OEM???
It's the same method that joebloggs did which you already tried.. though tried to flash with AWARDFLASH fisrt, not APIFLASH
Just to clarify... You are suggesting that I retry joeblogg's original upload but instead of using AWARDFLASH use awdflash v8.73 instead? or is there a program named APIFLASH?
