My thoughts are if you can't extract a BIOS file from a self-extracting archive, should you really be giving advice and offering to modify peoples BIOS's ?
Even using the tools you can brick a MB if you choose the wrong method.
I have done about 1000 sucessful mods and I am still a novice compared to the members doing Manual mods here.

Thanks NoJuan999, but I do know how to extract an archive - I didnt try loading the exe into AwardTool!!!

AwardTool reported checksums might not match therefore I didnt want to chance bricking someone's board (this was after reporting first time round that the BIOS was invalid size which I have no idea why it did that as the second time I loaded it I didnt get this error). Congrats on the mod you performed.

An granted I am no expert like Yen and such, I am just contributing in the safest ways I know how!

    OK.
I thought you were trying to load the .exe into the tool.
    That just made me laugh.

That mod I just did for him had NO checksum errors though.
So maybe your copy of the BIOS was slightly corrupt.

My thoughts too - it did take forever to download for some reason so i came to re-download and found you had already modded... so no need - just replied to questions addressed to me instead, lol!
