openfly, You should contact the member (snOOze) that actually flashed that Bios and ask him. You could also check the Toshiba site and see how they recommend you flash that BIOS. You could try to use AFUDOS from Asus from a USB drive and rename the Modified Bios to P20B550.ROM. Just be sure to have a Recovery Method ready First !!!!!!
openfly, What Exact Model of Toshiba L40 do you have ???? There are many different models and the Bios depends on which one you actually have.

I think you need to type this....AFUDOS.EXE /IP20B550.ROM You need the "I" to program the eeprom... If this still doesnt work, I will look further....good luck If you are using a Vista mod, it is likely 2.0 anyway...be sure the mod is with 2.1 SLIC
