Can you please elaborate? Did you flash from DOS? Did it fail to flash or was the flash not having the slic?. Have you removed all loaders and cracks before applying flash?.. A loader is a less elegant method and could fail with some software updates. Ok. just noticed your PM's. You are probably trying to flash the bios to a wrong motherboard, ie. you may have made a mistake in identifing your motherboard, please check again
Afetr you mod about 2200 AMI and Award Bios files, then you can tell me which method I need to use on a mod. I would NOT provide a link to a mod that I thought would harm your MB. I choose the method based upon my experience with each specific BIOS file. So, If you don't want to use it please feel free to mod it yourself.
No Please, Don't get me wrong. My intentions are not what you understood. Actually I am just curious to know the benefits (technical/logical) of this method over other methods. I trust all you guys and love the kind work you do. Your experience is undoutably better than mine about computers. Sorry if I have disheartened you!
No Problem, It just sounded like you were telling me that SSV3 would be better for that BIOS when in fact it would Not. I used the Dynamic Method because that specific Bios already had SLIC 2.0 in the fC Module using Dynamic Method directly from ASUS. I have found after doing many similar Bios files from ASUS and other Manufacturers that Dynamic is the best method to use in that case to ensure that the new SLIC 2.1 is properly added to the BIOS. It has been done with the Dynamic Method and successfully flashed numerous times on similar mods.
