No Please, Don't get me wrong. My intentions are not what you understood. Actually I am just curious to know the benefits (technical/logical) of this method over other methods. I trust all you guys and love the kind work you do. Your experience is undoutably better than mine about computers. Sorry if I have disheartened you!
No Problem, It just sounded like you were telling me that SSV3 would be better for that BIOS when in fact it would Not. I used the Dynamic Method because that specific Bios already had SLIC 2.0 in the fC Module using Dynamic Method directly from ASUS. I have found after doing many similar Bios files from ASUS and other Manufacturers that Dynamic is the best method to use in that case to ensure that the new SLIC 2.1 is properly added to the BIOS. It has been done with the Dynamic Method and successfully flashed numerous times on similar mods.
Thanks for your kind clarification. This was the thing I want to know (your preference of dynamic moding over SSV3/MM). I have decided to flash BIOS right now. I will report my result soon. Hoping that everything will be fine (first time BIOS flashing, very basic knowledge about BIOS).
You can flash with EZ-Flash if that MB has it or if Not then Flash from DOS with the included AFUDOS.
Thanks for the tip. Mobo supports EZ-Flash. I will try it first. The only problem is that I don't have any floppy disk+floppy drive. Can flash drive be used in case I need BIOS recovery?
That depends on your MB some will boot from USB for recovery other will not. I really don't foresee this Bios mod giving you any problems if you flash from a bootable USB.
