I've used Extreme 3.118 (Safe) with Loader Method but I think I have to deactivate it and use Certificate method once I've flashed Bios isn'it?

And regards your previus statement, do I have to include necessarily autoexec.bat including that line in the root of my usb or can I digit the command manually afetr booting up form usb?

if u've got a slic-modded bios why would u wanna install a Loader? so yes, uninstall loader then run the advanced option instead that automates the manually 'cert + key' method.

as for ur other q, so long as ur booted in DOS u can manually run that string yes.

Ok after I've flashed Bios I'll remove the loader and use the advanced option.

Now I tried flashing Bios but AFUMOS detected that the lenght of the modded Bios in different from the original one so it suggested to use

    AFUDOS ROMFILE.ROM /P /B /N /C
. Program main BIOS image & bootblock image
. Reset CMOS and NVRAM to defaults

and in the end I have two options: choose the suggested mode or proceed with the previius command

    AFUDOS ROMFILE.ROM /P /C
. Program main BIOS image, reset CMOS to defaults

    What should I do?

I see. That's great. Thanks for all the help. I have successfully updated my bios with the original bios from DFI. Will give the system a few dys to check for stability before proceeding with the modded one.

Thank u joebloggs1881 for taking the time to mod it and gwrench for trying.

just go for it mate. do u have original bios? try one method and if it's not happy flash back and try the other. i'm pretty sure either way will be safe.

My bad, I have reported a wromg statement.

AFUDOS detected that the lenght of layout CMOS is different in the modded bios and suggested to add /B, /C

So in your opinion, is it sure to accept what AFUDOS suggested?

yes, u'l just need to enter bios setup upon reboot and tweak the bios settings for all your hardware such as enabling SMART, onboard sound, lan, video and all that jazz.
