Are you flashing in DOS? Dont use the windows flahing utility. You have to make a bootable USB drive using HP Storage Format Utility. And flash the BIOS after booting from DOS. to the best of my knowledge there is no available Gigabyte cert to match the gigabyte 2.1 slic and definately no key ,at least this way I can match up th whole set. did you get any errors ,I tried it about four times and got 3 or 4 errors each time relating to no access to various .bin files and one .dll file .although it allways completed and showed up OK after being verified , I was worried about the errors . and thanks , for taking the time to do this for me .
i've had errors sometimes but not with this one. and just so you know there is a gigabyte certificate so it can be activated with an oem key.
