Asrock has a bios that i want to ask for slic 2.1 with two versions, one dos with dos flasher and the second as windows flasher. The bios is inside the .exe file. Which one is best to send as link. The windows is easier for me but can use the dos also. Thank you.
Hello NoJuan999, you remember me ? I bricked my Packard Bell mx45 2 days ago. I have got a 2nd chance. I found an old PC like mine , dead except mother board. So I swapped the MB, and now my PC is functional again. There's a god for pirates maybe. The model have changed, it's now a mx51 (AMD proc instead of Intel). The bios is different too, it's an AMIBios named T312MVNC.304 dated 2007, downloaded from Packard Bell site with Aflash2 v2.10 (like the mx45 one). I did the slic2.1 insert myself using AMITOOL v1.5, SSV3 method. All went OK, I flashed the "new" PC with aflash2 v2.10 , and then with AFLASH2 v3.0 and /ALL option. But it still the same issue than before, slic2.1 Acer appears , but RSDT is still Pacbell. Same symptom than on mx45 before "brick". So now , before going further, I hesitate. In you message, you asked me to use AFUDOS 2.x , and I used AFUDOS 4.27 instead. Do you think I have a chance to be successfull (no brick) with Afudos 2.x ? Thanks
