None of the tools which I have will allow me to open it and it tells me that it is not an AMI or Award Bios... Appeal to 911medic for this one.
I just went from 64 bit win7 on a intel dual core to an 32 bit version of vista running on a AMD quad core and using the same method that adrpat used to make it work worked, where on the 64 bit intel the same files the same steps ended up with a no boot black screen....just thought the environment might play a roll in it.
I have 3 machines, one is 64 bit intel, the other is 64 bit AMD and the 3rd is 32 bit AMD and I have the tools on all 3 and they work perfectly.
Own Mod Hi Guys - if I use the award tool to mod my own Bios - is it possible to get someone to check it before I flash my mainboard??? DIf so would you need the original and the modded one?? TIA
