I know what u mean ... i'm exhausted ... had to move to the uk to cool down I think you're right about the beer as well. I flashed the bios with the mod, installed the certificate for hp, which was accepted, all good. When i put in a key, win 7 spat the dummy & said i was illegal & a very norty boy, (bit like my immigration status in this country) black screens now rule..... cos I'm being punished. This is a fresh install of an authentic & pristine 64 bit version, apart from formatting & reinstalling windows & reflashing the bios, (which doesn't worry me) any suggestions/ideas. I've also reflashed the bios to the latest offering from gigaboot. Copulater
Thanks mate, got all that. I'm doing a clean install & reflash the bios with your mod. i think I stuffed up when I didn't put in the correct hp oem slp key, i used another, ran the validation & surprise surprise.... Will keep you posted.

After you Flash the Modified Bios you can use the loaders Advanced Options to install the cretficate and Serial Key. If you use the Loader v1.7.9 click on Advanced Options ... Activation Setup and use Gigabyte Certificate and any Serial Key you want (Acer, Dell, or Whatever) then click on More Options and click on Install Certificate and serial under Bios Mod. Then reboot just to be safe and you should be done.
There is any way to install the registration/certification (automated) without use a loader? Making a DVD with 7 instalation plus some files?
