    Tried from DOS again with diferent command line arguments: AFUDOS.EXE HPSLIC.ROM /P /B /N /C.
    Same results, still no SLIC
    Any suggestions

    SSv2 Mod deleted, thanks for the info.
    Like I said the original Bios has SLIC 2.1 in it so there should be a way for you to enable it.

    yeah, problem now is I can't recover the BIOS, tried with USb stick and AMIBOOT.BIN on it, with and without boot capabilities, tried several key combinations (Win+B, Ctrl+Home, etc).
    Still no luck.
    Seems like boot block is damaged :(
    Any ideas?

    You best bet might be to just use the Windows 7 loader by Daz and not worry about it.
    I don't have that PC so there is No way for me to test it.

    Yes, I think I'll stop messing around and stick to a loader....

    I've flashed the Asus MAximus II formula 2202SLIC2.1 bios with AFUDOS, and i'm still getting the not genuine message :O

    I didn't.
    A backup was made from the original Flashed BIOS by the original requester.
