    An ISA Mod is as safe as it gets.
    I have modified about 120 EVGA Bios's and haven't had any reports of one getting Bricked.
    Just make sure you have a recovery disk/USB drive ready, BEFORE you flash this.
    Also, Flash From DOS (NOT a DOS Box in Windows) with AWDFlash.

    PS
    If you're not comfortable Flashing a BIOS, then just use the Windows 7 Loader by Daz.

    Ok thanks, i know the other EVGA X58 mobo's also dont have removable bios chips, there just wasn't a mod for this one and its been a while since i did any of that kind of stuff. and i know perfectly well about Daz's 7 loader :D i was gonna use it to activate windows with the bios mod anyways. it be easier that way XD
