    whoa, after using vista for a while and tired for being drag down by it,i installed 7 last nite, using ASUS P5BE-Plus SLIC 2.1 modded BIOS, cert & slp, and it works like a charm mate, no more loader ;-).. thanks for the big help, you did superb works
    anyway, since im using slic 2.1 activation, is it matter if i (accidentally) instal KB971033 on my 7 ?

    It should Not hurt a thing.
    A Bios Mod should pass Online Validation without any problems.

    According to his post, he put DELL SLP (for Win XP activation) into both of those.

    any particular reason why you chose ISA vs 0+2? also how do i flash from dos? should i prepare myself with backup disk in case of bad flash cause of this weird bios since this pc has no floppy drive?

    P.S i noticed you added HP in slp string again is it necassary to re ad an slp string to a bios thats already has slp? thanks
