    I was successfully able to use the bios mod to change the SLIC. I would like again to thank you for the pointer to the correct BIOS and a very special thanks to NoJuan999 for creating the mod. Very much appreciated!

    If I ever wish to update the bios from the Gigabyte website, I wonder if this mod is permanent or if with a new BIOS, the SLIC 2.1 is deleted?

    Try from an USB boot Key, it seems that your floppy can be broken, did you try it under windows ? and right formated ??
