    I don't own an HP so you really need to search for others with HP Mini's and see what they had to do to get that PC to recognize the SLIC 2.1 info.

    I did (not sure wich one i used), everything worked fine, until i had to reboot. PC doesn't start up anymore, even the backup-bios does not start. I solder out the eeprom, now the backup BOS starts up but dies and the PC reboots again. Damn bricks.
    I plan to flash the eeprom using another MB, but this time one from an expert and not such a mess like before. Hopefully it will work ...
