    I have no clue what the difference is between the two. I modded the file you linked to though so I don't see why it'd change. Did it activate Win7? :confused:

    FYI when posting links to bios files it is advised to use the insert link from the tool bar in your post and not cntrl v or paste. It breaks the link after a while

    I think so. Have you tried installing the certificate and activating with the key?

    Modular is like backup,if one bios get f**ked i can use the second one :),but now i'm afraid that something is wrong ..and how i can activate windows if i don't have a Dell oem key ?

    even formated and redid it didn;t have any problem with 2.0 or 2.1 on my rampage whitch i did myself

    any help will be a good help

    If you've flashed a SLIC 2.1 BIOS, you should be able to use the Lenovo key that leaked that's on the MyDigitalLife front page. I'm using HP SLIC with that key, working beautifully.

    Try reflashing? I'm not sure what could be wrong. When I open the BIN with the AMITOOL and check the certificate against the BIOS it says it's fine.
