    there is a gigabyte slic 2.1 but i can't find a valid certificate

    Actually, I just realized I have a Gigabyte SLIC. I could mod your BIOS with it but I'm not sure if Win7 will activate with a Gigabyte SLIC. Up to you whether you want me to mod it again though. Glad you got Win7 activated! :]

    EDIT: NEVERMIND, sorry I'm burnt out. I don't have a GB SLIC, only a GB cert

    Can you make a Slic bios for my Laptop?

    I have realy no plan is a award or another Bios Type. Is from Hewlett Packard and is for the HP PAVILION DV7 1105eg

    If your BIOS is an AWARD or AMI then yeah, I'll be able to do it. Otherwise, you'll have to look to the much more experienced users on here.:)

    That means that your BIOS has SLIC 2.1. It identifies itself to Windows as a Dell machine, and the certificate to match that is included.

    Dynamic method means the method the program used to insert it into the BIOS.

    ahh....thanks for the clarification and thehelp. so to activate it now i just need to d/l a dell.xrm-ms from this site.
