    I just attempted to MOD my own BIOS with Busykid508's tutorial, installing Windows 7 in VMWare to see if it works :)

    Will post back with results and start helping if successful.

    I need Gigabyte's OEM Slic 2.1 for Windows 7 for my Bios.

    Thanks, I downloaded the file. But I wish to have Gigabyte's OEM SLIC mod for my Gigabyte GA-G31M-S2L Bios Revision F9. Would you help further.:)

    Question: is VMWare supposed to activate Windows 7 the same as if you installed it normally?
