Jesus. I need Windows update service to make offline installation. Not to mention it took nearly 5 minutes for installer to notice I dont have it running
Then again. IE7 installer was pure crap too so nothing new...
To be honest with win update running IE8 installed suprisingly fast. Still slow but I have a feeling IE7 took like 10-15 minutes to install so at least some progress there.
Then the weird part. Why did I even bother installing IE8 as I never use IE. With XP I used to run win update but with vista don't need it even for that. Guess I use it once or twice just to check whats new (or copied from other browsers).
Anyways. Thanks for the update. Not your fault that MS can't make good browser. Nothing just beats FF with noscript, ABP, and cookie permissions disabled
