I have a HP a6432f that I would like to modify the Bios, however there is no Bios update for this model on the HP site.

I try downloading the sp37190.exe update because it is for the same type of board the M2N68-LA but I keep getting errors when trying to update the Bios, even if I try to update it with the not mod file.

I get an error saying "system bios image is bad or invalid"

I am wondering if there is a way to back up the current BIOS, then mod it and reload it

    Thank you

    That's an Award Bios.
You can use AWDFlash from DOS to make a backup.
Make a Bootable USB or Floppy and copy AWDFlash onto that and reboot with it in.
    Then type:
    awdflash a:backup.bin /sy /pn

    Then hit enter.

I was able to back up the bios and mod it with the slic 2.1, now what will be the procedure to update the bios on this board??

Do I use the same AWDFlash program or do I use the AWD873 that I have also

When I use the following comand "AWDflash backup.bin" i get an error

    Thank you
