    Hey guys,

Looking for some help. Tried flashing my gigabyte mobo with the slic 2.1 modded bios. I have the EP45 UD3R. It didn't work. I can still get into windows, but now I am no longer able to get into my CMOS. When I hit del or any button I just get a flashing cursor in the upper left corner. How can I go about flashing this back to get right? I always used Qflash before with no issues, but the modded slic that was listed here did not work right. Any ideas???

    NoJuan,

I have the DOS files on my USB, but my problem is, is that I cannot access it anymore from this bad flash. I go to the boot menu and try to select USB HDD but for some reason my arrow keys no longer work for me to navigate. I am at a loss on what else to do at this point. If I could get the boot menu to work I would be in the clear.

Did you read the Second link ?
You will need to put that BIOS on a bootable floppy, if it will fit.

Or you can use PowerISO to create a Bootable CD with DOS system files and your BIOS and Flasher on it.

I don't have a floppy drive. I will check into the bootable cd option though.

Or try using @BIOS and flash it again with original bios not the modded one within windows itself

if you have the built in flashing utility then put the bios on a usb stick
    and press end durring post

failing that make a bootable windows 98 iso and boot with the usb stick
connected then flash from the command line.

Yes is true, you have flash the bios with ISA Mod for the last one don't work (f11).
Only works awardtool SSV3 with out problem. If you continue having problems to reanimate your mobo, I will tell how I did.
